Hennepin Made is currently seeking a full-time employee for the New York market. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a positive attitude and possess strong communication skills. This candidate should have existing contract and hospitality clients and the ability to build new client relationships.

This role will build brand awareness, drive sales, and conduct business development through the Architecture and Design field. Hennepin Made would provide support in marketing, events, facilitation of sample requests and project management assistance to ensure sales efforts are maximized.

Requirements

  • Build and maintain relationships with A&D community, Hotel Brands and PurchasingAgents

  • Prospect and acquire new clients

  • Service opportunities and follow through to close the sale

  • Make in-person presentations to current clients and prospects to promote the brand

  • Travel 3-4 times annually within the territory with the National Sales Manager

  • Follow up on sales leads from trade shows and events

  • Work booth at NY based trade shows

  • Review monthly and quarterly sales results, goals and pipeline with National Sales Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in the contract/hospitality market

  • Must be computer proficient and have ability to learn software systems such as Salesforce

  • Must live in New York
